December 29th, 2010 - Benjamin Is FIVE!

Benjamin had a really special fifth birthday. We spent the first half of the day on a return trip to the Science Center. We got to go to all the exhibits we missed on our last trip. Benjamin and Daddy worked hard and made this arc together.

He really got into the marshmallow launchers!

It took forever, but Collin finally settled in for a morning nap on his Daddy's shoulder.

All the kids really loved this airplane activity area where they could climb and slide and pretend.

Benjamin serving up some delicious snacks at Hooper's Store.

Benjamin waved goodbye to his (many) reflections outside the museum.

We brought Benjamin one of his birthday presents with us so that he could have a gift to unwrap on his birthday. He LOVED his Robin Hood hat!

Pretending to shoot his arrows.....

The five cousins who were together for the holiday (we missed you Luke!!).

It was entertaining watching the audience Anna got while playing with her new toy. I think the boys were quite jealous! They handled it well though.

The day before, Benjamin and I went just the two of us to an ice cream store and he got to pick out the flavors of his ice cream cake. He's a big fan of Reece's right now, so it was an easy choice for him!

Singing to the five year old!

Isn't this an awesome shot of him blowing out his candle?!? :)

Mmmmmm!!!
That evening we went with his cousin Jack to the movie theater to see Tangled. It was a great movie that ended a really GREAT birthday! Happy Birthday my incredibly sweet five year old. You make me so proud and fill all my days with smiles! Thank you for making me a Momma five years ago!
