Florida Trip

Since we are less than 7 hours away from Lakeland here in Charleston, we decided to go visit Dave's Grandma and family. We had a great time! Benjamin traveled really well since we got him a new car seat, which makes driving so much nicer! We got there Sat evening and it was so great getting to see Grandma's new house. She has a great place! Here's a picture of Benjamin sleeping in a crib that was bought for his Grandpa and that his Dad and most of their family have slept in. How cool is that??? He was ready to go to sleep most nights as we had some pretty busy days!




On Sunday we spent the day at Joaney's where we got to meet the newest addition to the family, Baby Cohen!!!! Yea! We also got to see all of their animals (a horse, pony, two cows, four dogs, three cats, and a bird!!!!)




Monday night everyone came over to Grandma's house for a great dinner. We got to meet all the family and Benjamin had a blast playing with Ashley and Emily!

On Wednesday we spent the day with Grandma, Joaney, Ashley, and Emily. We went swimming at Grandma's. Benjamin was such a trooper, it was chilly but you wouldn't have known from watching him! Dave was funny with Ashley and Emily! I think they wore him out!!!!

The girls were really good with Benjamin. They fed him.........

And bathed him!!!!! He doesn't look happy in this picture b/c he was so tired from skipping his nap b/c he was playing with the girls all day. But I promise, he did enjoy this bath! Ashley washed his hair and Emily washed his body! They did a great job! Practicing for their new brother or sister I think! We took this picture b/c they soaped up his hair and put it into a mohawk!

As you can see, we had a wonderful trip! We are so thankful we went down there! They are a wonderful family and we had such a good time with them all!
