The Zoo!

After our pictures (see below) we headed to the zoo. We hadn't been there in a long time and had such a great visit. When we arrived they were feeding the seals and sea lions.

The weather seemed iffy in the morning but turned out great and so we had the place to ourselves. We enjoyed a nice long visit with the penguins.

Eva even watched them.

Big beautiful eyes checking out the penguins swimming.

My babies and I. :)

Tortoise/Iguana meeting.

Eva and Daddy enjoying a quiet moment while the big kids checked out the snakes.

Anna was happy to be back outside, she was not pleased with how warm it was in the desert exhibit.

Next up, dolphins!

And the dolphin show too, of course!

The bear was pacing back and forth so we got a good look at him.

The kids enjoyed seeing how big their "wingspans" are compared to bats and Benjamin enjoyed taking pictures.

Monkey with a monkey. ;)

Anna was so excited to find her favorite, the tiger! They have renovated the tigers' exhibit since we last visited and you now get to be right next to them which Anna just loved!

The tiger was pacing back and forth because she could see the male in the next enclosure and didn't like that. The kids were tickled because they thought she was walking back and forth with them. I was pleasantly surprised with how well Collin did, he's been pretty scared of animals like this in the past.

Here's the male in the other enclosure.

Benjamin and Anna didn't listen to Daddy when they were told it was time to leave the playground and this was the result.

Collin calls this his birthday shirt.

Cute brothers!

The kids (in their love of potty humor) loved this part. We were watching the polar bear and he walked to the end of his enclosure, turned around, and started peeing. He went for a very long time!

This is Collin's new expression. He wrinkles his eyebrows like this and tells what isn't fair. It's hard not to smile when he makes this adorable face, even though he's frustrated.

Most of the time, a sweet smile quickly replaces the pout.

We wore them out! For the first time in a long while, all the kids fell asleep in the car!

It was such a good day!
