Off To Neverland

After many years of Anna being in love with Peter Pan (she even used to pretend that John and Michael were her kids) and watching the movie countless times, we had a wonderful Neverland Party for her. She was so excited and loved getting to dress up and so did her brothers. Here are our pirate, Wendy, and Peter Pan. Benjamin was going to be a pirate like Collin and Dave and then changed his mind when we figured out his Robin Hood hat could turn inside out and look like Peter Pan's. After getting him dressed he told me, "I'm glad to be Peter Pan instead of a pirate because I would rather rescue my sister than capture her." :)

My storybook Peter Pan cake for my sweet five year old.

When the kids arrived we had some craft time and let them design their own pirate hats.

The happy birthday girl!

Grandma helped Collin with his and he was so happy to have his name on it. He loves seeing his name and the letter C right now.

Eva hung out with Grandma during the party.

Grandma and Grandpa brought face paint and the kids had fun getting even more dressed up!

Grandma and Grandpa did a great job dressing up!

Captian Hook (Dave) arrived to tell the kids how they could earn their treasure.

The kids all seemed to have fun playing the games to fill up their treasure box.

Anna was so excited that she finished her's first!

We also had some sword fighting...

The tables were set up for different parts of Neverland. We ate at the Indian Camp.

Then it was present time!

When it was time for us to sing Happy Birthday, Anna made the sweetest expressions I think I've ever seen! She looked so happy and honored to have us all sing for her!

Making a wish...

Gobbling up Peter Pan's face.

We felt very blessed to be able to give our sweet girl such a wonderful birthday celebration and to have so many family and friends spend the afternoon partying with us!
