Yea for Saturdays!

We had a really great day today. We got really used to being together everyday since Dave had over two weeks of time off around Christmas. We have been really missing him during the day this week so we were super excited to be together as a family today. Then God blessed us even more by giving us a beautiful day. The high was 77 and the sun was shining all day with no clouds so we decided to take Dave to see Morris Lighthouse and get some more pictures. We spent hours there walking around the beach that makes a half circle around the lighthouse. We were there as the tide was going out so it was really neat to see the sand slowly get closer and closer to the lighthouse. There were some boats that parked on these little sand islands and the people could walk really close to the lighthouse (we were pretty jealous of them). It was a gorgeous day and we really enjoyed ourselves! We had fun finding lots of great shells and Dave even found a piece of a turtle's shell. We also had fun letting Benjamin walk on the beach with us holding each of his hands. We are having so much fun as our sweet little baby turns into a sweet little boy! Here are some of the great pictures we got. We took a lot of pictures so sorry for the long post, but I'm sure the grandparents won't mind! Sorry Frankie if this makes you sad that you didn't get to see it! I kept telling Dave over and over again today how much I regret that we didn't take you here, you would have loved it! Hope you enjoy the pictures, they're almost as good as the real thing, right?

This was near the end of our visit and Benjamin was such a trooper letting us hold him and walk him all over that beach. He was happy to be cuddling with his mommy! We tickled and giggled all the way back to the car!

In the background you can see the suspension bridge and you can also see one of the boats that parked on the little sand island.

So pretty! You can kind of see the people walking on the sand island. When we first got there that sand island wasn't there at all! Pretty cool, huh?

We really enjoyed ourselves today! Yea for a great, beautiful Saturday!

Also, we wanted to say Congrats to Andy on the coaching job he got today with Stanford! We're so happy for you guys!
