Anna and I went on a girls date and saw "The Sound Of Music" done by a local acting company. It was really well done and we had a lot of fun. Anna loves the movie and really enjoyed the play. She even had a friend playing Gretl. We made it extra special by getting dressed up, which Anna loved!
Over the weekend we went to Dave's parents' house to spend more time with Dave's grandma before she headed back to Florida. The day we went was our last day of first grade and Benjamin went out with a bang, getting 100's on all of his tests!! So we celebrated by taking everyone to ice cream. Mmmmm!
Eva discovered these two kitchen cabinets that are just for show (the doors open but there isn't a cabinet inside). She LOVED them! Open, shut. Open, shut. Squeal with delight!
We enjoyed a lovely walk across the pedestrian bridge.
Daddy kisses while the big kids played on the playground.
Uncle Mike came through town and it was perfect, because it was his birthday! He couldn't stay too long, so the kids had an awesome treat....birthday cake for breakfast!
I had packed cute church clothes and the kids looked adorable so I took advantage of their beautiful backyard.
It was a wonderful weekend!
