Poor Collin hasn't been feeling well. He just has a little cold that the rest of the family passed around but I think he's teething on top of it and has been acting quite pitiful. As he was toddling around Saturday morning, I snapped this picture of him and thought it was a cute pose even though he isn't the happiest.
Saturday was Benjamin's first soccer game or as he calls it, "the big game!" He counted down the days all week and was so excited for the game to finally get here. For his first time, he did awesome and had a lot of fun! The kid in front of him was quite a bit bigger (the teams are 5 and 6 year-olds) but it didn't stop Benjamin from trying his hardest to get the ball or stop it from going in the goal.
I think it's pretty obvious from the expressions on his face how happy he was!

I didn't get a good picture of it, but it seemed his favorite part was defense. They play without goalies, but Benjamin would stick close to his goal when the ball got near it and excitedly try to keep it out. He had so much fun and it was so special to watch his first game and Dave coaching him!
