Photo Shoot

All snuggled up.

The big sister had to get a cuddle in before heading out to play in the sprinkler.

Eva is super sweet. She lets you cuddle her up and easily put her to sleep and hardly ever cries. The exception is when you change her clothes or diaper. She lets out quite the cries then if she's naked at all. I say it's because she's so lady like. : )

Eva is finally starting to really open her eyes all the way.

So we had a little photo shoot to capture those beautiful eyes.

Dave came up with the best snack for the kids. He calls it "fishing in the kitchen" and gives them peanut butter with raisins on top and they go fishing for them with carrots. They love it!!

So I continued our little photo shoot to get some sweet sleeping pictures.

She is so adorable and sweet and very, very loved!!!

First Visit From the Tooth Fairy

Boy snuggle time.

Sunday night after baths Benjamin discovered that his tooth was much looser. He started wiggling it a bunch and then had me see if it would come out with a little tug, which it did! He was so excited and proud!

In the morning he came into our bedroom to excitedly show that the tooth fairy had left him a golden dollar!

Eva had a check up on Monday which meant we had our first car ride with all six of us together. Her weight was still at 8 pounds even and she's a little jaundiced but not too much. 

After leaving the pediatrician's office we had to go to the hospital and get her newborn screening done since we left before she was 48 hours old. By the time we got home, Eva and I were both completely worn out!

I love her ears! They are so little and round!

First Days

Collin has amazed us with how much he loves his little sister and how easily he's adjusted to her being here. He wants to hold Eva every chance he can!

First morning at home!

Eva does this with her lips a lot. It's pretty cute!

Benjamin and Anna are so in love with her too. It is such a blessing to see how excited they are that Eva is finally here!

Second night home and we are still soaking up any awake time we can!

Hospital Time & Eva's Homecoming

We decided to only stay one night in the hospital because I wasn't in too much pain and didn't sleep very well there. Plus we were excited to bring Eva home to her brothers and sister! Here is sweet Eva dressed and ready to go home.

She even woke up for a bit to see what was going on.

But within minutes was cozy and asleep.

Benjamin, Anna, and Collin excitedly greeted us at the door!

Collin even helped Daddy carry Eva in. He's already an awesome big brother!!

Grandpa was brave and held her before going home.

The kids were so very excited to hold her! I can't begin to explain how much they love her!!

Our first night at home she gave us her first extended awake time. Even though it was four in the morning, Dave and I enjoyed it immensely! Welcome home Eva!!
